The Spine x Reader - End of our Hopes pt 2

Pain...pain was all you felt being apart from him. He was right, yet you couldn't suffer any longer. Just floating in the darkness of the atmosphere. It was better than being with that monster. It change you yet you couldn't see yourself. Your eyes shutter open and close. Everything you could barley see was meteorites and stars that you could barely touch. It's seem like eternal being out here. Yet flashing lights came out of nowhere. The only thing you thought was the heavens taking you from the cruel world.

Something seem off as Spine was in the control room with his siblings. A yellow flashing light on the screen showing life form. Hatchworth came over wondering what was up.

"Spine do you think it's Fifth?"

"Yeah, Spine is it?" Spine looked back at his siblings and shrugged his shoulders.

"We have to open the screen to see what's out there. If it is we hope he's okay." They all nodded. Spine pressed the button, once the screen was opened everyones optics widened.

"That's not Fi-Fi-Fi-Fifth!" Rabbit shouted as the other bots stared into the being floating in space. To Spine he rushed out of the control room, his siblings followed.

"Spine are you crazy! What if that alien eats you or something?"Hatchworth spoke as Spine was already getting into his space suit. He may be a robot, but sometimes anything could happen out there in space.

"We can't just leave her, Hatchworth. Maybe she might know where Fifth is."

"And if she doesnt, Spine? What are you going to do?" Rabbit spoke, she was fiddling with her hands her boiler was boiling, steam was coming off her vents. Spine just opened the door slightly before looking over at his sister.

"I'll think of something." With that he opened the door all the way and jumped off into the floating air. The automations looked out seeing their brother grabbing the girl and pulling her inside. Spine held her close staring down at her. There were scars and dark purple that must be bruises. She seemed to be human well once was. He had no time to look everywhere else. She was indcent for the most part. Spine was pulled in by the ship and finally once inside the ship. Hatchworth held onto the girl in his arms while Spine was removing his suit.

"She's beautiful, Spine." Rabbit spoke, Spine didn't say or even showed any emotion. He took the girl from Hatchworth and brought her to the showering area.

"Rabbit, I want you to help me with her. Hatchworth I want you to go back to the control room. Bee-Bop should swing by to help you." They both nodded. Once Spine reached the area. Rabbit started cleaning the girl, it was gross considering to her it look like a different kind of matter she knew. Spine went through Rabbits clothes finding something for the girl to wear. He knew his sis wouldn't mind. Once Rabbit was finished, she picked her up and tried her off. Spine return only to see Rabbits face with a frown.

"I'll let it slide once, considering thats my old outfit."

"How is she doing?" He asked looking at her on the examination table. Rabbit just hugged her self taking the outfit from him.

"Whoever did this to her, pretty much wanted to hurt and play with her."

"What do you mean, Rabbit?" Rabbit moved herself away from him. Spine walked closer to the table. Her hair was white light with silver yet a hint of green was inside long and wavy. Her whole body and face was cover in neither dark or light purple. Sliver marking carved into her body leaving only the marks of whoever did this to her. The meaning of them he didn't know, but once she wakes up. He will ask. On her chest where her heart suppose to be at was a green shard sticking out causing the light to glow like a lighting bug at night during the summer. Flicking. It was attached and it didn't seem like it was able to be removed.

"When I was washing her, it look like green matter was all around her. Someone out there is messing with green matter. Look a-a-a-at her." Rabbit brushed some of her hair out of her face. Spine trailed his eyes up and down her body. She was right, whoever did this means business and luckily she got away.

"I'll stand guard and watch her, Rabbit you can go back." Rabbit laid her outfit beside the table and rubbed his shoulders.

"If anything happens.."

"I know, sis. I promise." With that Rabbit left the room, leaving Spine and the girl alone. Trailing his fingers over her marking, she was breathing yet hovering his hand over her heart. The light shined so bright Spine moved it away going back to the way it was.

"Who are you..."

Eyes shot opened as your body loved up holding yourself. Strangely enough you were alive. How you didn't know. Your surroundings was not of space it felt like you were here before. Yet your breathing was shaking, suddenly a voice crack out. Turning your head to the side, you saw a tall automation, sliver with markings that you never would have saw. Dress in a black long pants stylish shoes with a long sleeve shirt over that a vest with red buttons trailing down. A black fedora on top of his head along with his black slick hair. His eyes, his eyes were emerald color that shine so bright. You stared down at them for who knows how long. He spoke again, breaking your contract and slowly nodded.

"Don't be afraid, do you have a name?" He asked, the thought came to you as you tried to remember.

"My..name..is _________________." He gave a soft smile to you, causing you to blush.

"________________, that's a beautiful name. My name is The Spine."

"Am...i..in trouble?" Shivering in your spot, he shook his head, placing a hand on your shoulder. You flinch a little, but calm down. He didn't hit you...he seem nice.

"No, but I want to know is what happen to you?" Closing your eyes not wanting to remember. You shrugged your shoulders, not knowing. Spine let out some steam from his lips. "Are you sure?" Once again you nodded.

"I..can't..seem to.. remember.. much."holding yourself tightly as ever. Spine only watched how scared and confused you were.

"Rest up, but first here is something for you to wear. You're kind of indecent at the moment." He was a gentleman, though seeing your body wanted to do things he wanted to do. He was a respect one. Never shall lay a finger unless wanted to. You nodded taking the material as he left the room. Looking at the outfit, it was really pretty. It was a long dress with a big red bow in the back and dark as night. It seem like it wasn't a finish dress, but it was better than having nothing at all. Placing it on while tying the knot in the back. Spine came in and widen his eyes. You were stunning as your hair glow against the dress and trailing his eyes down. You were barefooted, yet taking his eyes up the center of the shard was out, the front was a v shape on the chest showing just a little cleavage, but nothing more. Which was good considering if Rabbit saw even a hole in that dress. She would be mad at the Spine for who knows how long.

"You look amazing." You only nodded. You didn't known what to do. Spine took your hand and help you walk out of the examination room and down the halls of the ship.

"Where are we going?"

"The control room, you have people to meet."
